Patriotism is a novelty but why we limit this novelty to border. But, ain't borders are meant to demarcate? Demarcate us from the rest of the world. It's natural that when we fight with our neighbours, the bonding among family members is strongest. We human being has this tendency to fall in love or relate well with anyone when there is a third entity, who we hate to the core. There are very few who transcend this nature and shower their love to all; vanishing boundaries like Gandhi who once said “if world needs India for a greater cause I am ready to let it go”. No wonder to my knowledge, only he had been called world citizen.

Materialism crisis

When we grow up, we start focusing on career and become a part of the rat race around, we sense everything but ourselves. We are so damn trapped by marketers definition of happiness that we never realize the beauty of little acts that involve no transaction.

Marketers, which could be you and me create halo of false happiness that only this product and service could give you the real pleasure or happiness, if you don't have this you have not arrived. And, this is so universal that it looks like the only fact. But, the fact is real happiness is not at all dependent on transaction, it could come from little acts which do not involve transaction or a motive of it.
In childhood, we were free from the burden of comparisons, hierarchy and fear. What mattered then were the trivial games or activities, which have lost relevance today.I wonder what magic was in little acts, like pebble collection or running in the street with friends in terrible heat. Why today even the big accomplishments fail to infuse that kind of bliss in us?

If you think through, it's nothing but the vivid aggressive materialism and we are a part of it. And so this false happiness has become reality. We all are contributing to the changing parameters. To make ourselves compatible to this system, we stretch our mind more than body i.e., we do little but fear more hence, our creativity, purity of fearless mind and bliss of childlike curiosity have deserted us …leaving us blunt, insensitive and mechanical
